CAM monitors any Windows PC in real time. Plug in NZXT hardware and it controls your fans, RGB, and Kraken LCD too. Free. No account. No catch.
Real-time CPU, GPU, memory, and storage readouts with temperature graphs and utilization. Mini mode docks a compact overlay to the desktop.
Upload GIFs and still images, display live temperature or load readouts, or render a built-in visualizer. Content is resolution-matched to each Kraken model.
Render any webpage to the Kraken display — dashboards, chat overlays, or live data feeds. Choose from preset integrations or point to your own URL.

Most gaming brand apps only work with their own gear. CAM works on any Windows PC, free, with no account. Bring NZXT hardware to the party and it controls that too.
CAM gives every Windows PC real-time monitoring out of the box. Add NZXT hardware and a second set of controls unlocks — fans, RGB, Kraken LCD.
Anyone with a little HTML, CSS, or JavaScript can make a Web Integration. Here's what the community has built so far. Each one loads into CAM in one click.

Over a decade in, CAM is installed on more than 1.4 million PCs — and most of them aren't NZXT builds. CAM earned its place on rigs across every price tier, from first builds to top-of-stack.

Yes. CAM is a free download for any Windows PC. No account, no sign-in, no subscription.
Yes. System monitoring works on any Windows PC: CPU, GPU, memory, and storage readouts, plus temperatures and utilization. Fan control, RGB lighting, and Kraken LCD settings unlock when you connect compatible NZXT hardware. Check if your NZXT device is compatible.
CAM runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Windows 7 and 8.1 are no longer supported, and there are no plans for macOS or Linux versions.
No. CAM sets fan speeds through an NZXT fan controller, like the ones built into select Kraken coolers and NZXT motherboards. Without one, CAM still monitors your system but can't change fan speeds.
Not currently. CAM doesn't control RGB on RAM or GPUs. It controls lighting on NZXT devices, plus standard 12V RGB and 5V addressable RGB accessories connected to an NZXT motherboard.
When you're online, CAM sends anonymized usage data (like which lighting modes and fan profiles you use) and anonymized performance data. You can turn this off anytime in CAM Settings, under the gear icon.
Open Windows Settings, go to Apps, find NZXT CAM in your installed apps, and select Uninstall. See the full steps.
