The wait is almost over. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is officially launching November 14, 2025, and players will get their first chance to try it during the upcoming beta in early October. With new gameplay systems, massive multiplayer offerings, and a mind-bending campaign, this could be one of the biggest Black Ops entries yet. Here’s everything you need to know — from beta dates to what kind of PC you’ll want to run it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta details

The beta will feature a slice of Multiplayer, letting players try new maps, weapons, and mechanics ahead of launch.

  • Early access beta : October 2–5 (available to digital preorders + Game Pass Ultimate, PC, or Console subscribers)

  • Open beta : October 5–8 (free for all players on all platforms)

What’s new in Black Ops 7

Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be one of the biggest entries in the series yet. Here are just a few of the highlights:

  • Co-op campaign (up to 4 players): For the first time since 2015, you can squad up in campaign missions with bigger environments and shared progression.

  • Next-level Omnimovement: Wall jumps, mantling, and combat rolls expand traversal and open up new ways to outplay opponents.

  • Overclock system: Scorestreaks, Equipment, and Field Upgrades grow stronger the more you use them, adding new layers of strategy.

  • Skirmish (20 v 20 mode): Large maps, vehicles, wingsuits, and grappling hooks bring Warzone-style scale to traditional multiplayer.

  • Zombies return: The legendary round-based Zombies mode is back, dropping players into surreal environments with endless waves of the undead.

  • Visual upgrades: From real-time fog and fluid simulations to dynamic surface deformation, this is the most technically ambitious Black Ops yet.

These additions mean Black Ops 7 will likely demand more from your setup than Black Ops 6 — especially if you’re aiming for high refresh rates or 4K visuals.
