The H5 Elite (2023) features a tempered glass front panel and built-in RGB functionality to showcase various lighting components. With optimized thermal performance and intuitive cable management, the H5 Elite is an ideal chassis for most builds.

    I grabbed the case to quickly put together a system with legacy components to run Linux.

    Case is roomy and easy to work with, although material is very thin. Not critical.

    No issues of any kind. Satisfied with resulting build.

    Great Case with one major flaw

    Case is great overall but the major flaw is the PSU has to be mounted upside down causing the PSU fan to pull air IN from the case. The wouldn’t be an issue if there weren’t two places to mount case fans directly above it. Making these fans INTAKE steals the air the PSU would otherwise take in to cool itself. You can make the bottom case fans exhaust but then the PSU would taking in hot air. It’s a lose/lose for the PSU.

    The price is exceptional for what you get. The cable management is superb. The tempered glass side panel pulls off easily. Overall it’s a great buy for a mid tower gaming PC.
