    now stuck

    hi, i am working on a pc, my psu was working perfectly but after 6h poooof, it went off. i cant turn it back on, i wonder what i can do about it

    Do not waste your time on NZXT due to Poor customer service protocols

    I live on a very limited budget and for past few years i have been building my own PC. I purchased this 2 years ago from best buy and was just now able to begin building my pc. Plugged everything in and behold nothing came on. I did all the usual tests and took it to best buy. The guy at the service area checked it for me too and said its a bad unit. But told me i could not return or exchange since i purchased 2 years ago. I was told to contact NZXT as they advertise 10 year warranty on these products. I told him i didnt have the original receipt and asked for a copy and he could not pull up my number for the order. Was told it shouldnt matter since this model has barely been in produciton for 4 years. Fast forward to the last hour. I talked with both Gabe and Ash, I provided all steps of what i did and then even sent a video of proof of the unit being jumped and then still not working. I mentioned i did not have the receipt for the order and best buy did not either. Well now i have a paper weight because NZXT doesnt care! They think someone will buy a abused unit or get a scrapped one to replace. I sent S/N info for them to review if this has been shown as i warrantied unit or run lot batch info to show other defects in that production run, they said they dont do that. Which is bogus after Ash slipped up and said they log S/N for warranty frauds. All in all, i have a piece of junk that i had to save up for and cant even use it. Moral of the story, dont buy NZXT. Obviously…

    While we do offer a long-term warranty on this product, a valid proof of purchase is required in order to process any warranty claim. This is necessary because the warranty period begins from the original date of purchase, and the receipt allows us to verify that the unit was purchased new and from an authorized retailer.

    Without proof of purchase, we’re unfortunately unable to confirm the purchase date or where the unit was obtained, whether from a retailer such as Best Buy, another marketplace, or a secondary market. Because of this, we’re unable to validate the warranty claim at this time.

    I bought this PSU at BestBuy about 18 months ago and I had/have no issues with it,

    I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

    Runs my computer just fine.

    Good while it lasted

    Was great while it lasted. I got this from my local Best Buy and it worked perfect at first. But when I swapped it to another build since the original one I didn't like it wouldn't power on. I went through two motherboards, CPUs, and sets of RAM only to find out it was the power supply. I was passed the return period so got another brand and now my build works flawlessly. I started a RMA and did the trouble shooting that I was advised to do and it starts and shuts off. So who knows if warranty will be honored.
