I got this mic with my PC purchase. It was super sensitive and exactly what I wanted. Something that I keep a few feet from my face and still be hears clearly when I spoke normally. It would have required plenty of tweaking but thanks to my 4080SUPER GPU all I needed to do was install and launch the GeForce studio mod, turned on noise suppression and now people can't even hear my super loud fan in my face. But! The mic picks up on ANY voice in the same room. Which is a win! No background noises and ALL THE VOICES?... 🤤🤤🤤🫦
So yes. Very satisfied. Worth every penny.
Oh! The case to the actual mic IS plastic. I was worried about this at first BUT the base IS STEEL. It's a good sturdy base. The mic, despite it being plastic, is high quality. I only say this so yall aren't surprised. I still highly recommend especially if you can't afford the 500-1.5k options. This is THE budget mic.

my main issue is with the gain dial. it’s pretty much impossible to tell how much you have the mic set to unless you record yourself talking and constantly make slight adjustments until it’s in the area you want. there’s no real arrow on the gain dial so if God forbid someone messes with your stuff and you just want it set up how you had it before, there’s no easy way to just put it back because you’ll have no idea what the gain is set to. that being said, the build and audio quality of the mic itself is great.
