Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that prevented icons for KrakenZ and Hue+ from showing. This fix should allow users to quickly see and interact with all of their connected devices.

Notes

The team is continuing to work on support for several new upcoming hardware products, so this update is a little light.

Additionally, the engineering team continues to work to diagnose and resolve an issue which causes slowdowns on certain AMD machines that are also running other monitoring programs concurrently. It's our engineering team's top priority, and we hope to have it resolved soon.

CAM 4.22.0

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where user settings backup was not working. This issue could have caused users' settings to fail to restore in the event that local data was lost by reformat or manual deletion.

Notes

Over the past few weeks, the CAM team has been heads-down working on two large projects:

  • We're working to add support for upcoming hardware products that NZXT will offer in 2021. There are some very exciting products coming out this year that CAM will support with top-tier software integrations.
  • We're investigating a bug that recently came to our attention. On certain Ryzen machines, particularly ones with multiple monitoring programs running, there seems to be a case where the machine will continuously slow down until the user reboots the machine. While closing extraneous monitoring programs does seem to help relieve the issue, we are investigating a more permanent solution which will allow users to run multiple monitoring programs concurrently.
