NZXT WARRANTY

This NZXT Limited Warranty ("NZXT Warranty") is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It applies to all NZXT products sold via the NZXT webshop for the United Kingdom.

The NZXT guarantee extends your rights beyond the statutory consumer rights (e.g. your rights relating to defects or rights under the Product Liability Act), but in no way restricts these statutory rights.

To the extent your statutory consumer rights and your rights under the NZXT Guarantee overlap, you can choose to exercise your statutory rights or your rights under this Guarantee. Even if you decide to assert your rights under the NZXT Guarantee, you can still assert your statutory consumer rights at any time if the statutory requirements are met.

For the NZXT products listed below, NZXT assumes a guarantee from receipt of the respective NZXT product by you for the respective guarantee period in accordance with the terms and conditions of this guarantee statement.

The warranty period for any component of your NZXT Product that is replaced or repaired during the Warranty Period, or for a NZXT Product that is replaced or repaired during the Warranty Period, is the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 calendar days, whichever is longer.

Which NZXT products does NZXT guarantee? NZXT Systems Your NZXT System includes all components of the hardware system, excluding operating systems, software, documentation and other supporting materials, assuming a standard factory configuration and operating under normal conditions. Warranty period: [three (3) years]

Computer Parts Computer parts includes computer cases, temperature gauges, fans, accessories and cables. Warranty period: [three (3) years]

NZXT E Series Power Supplies Warranty Period: [ten (10) years]

NZXT Kraken X Series Water Coolers Warranty Period: [six (6) years]

Kraken M22 Series Complete Water Coolers Warranty Period: [three (3) years]

Motherboard N7 Z370 Warranty period: [four (4) years]

All NZXT Certified and Refurbished Products Warranty Period: [one (1) year]

All refurbished PCs and refurbished PC components Warranty period: [four (4) years]

What is covered by the NZXT Guarantee? NZXT warrants that your NZXT product will be free from initial defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period.

For all NZXT certified and refurbished products, NZXT additionally warrants that all parts are free from defects in materials and workmanship and NZXT's work related thereto has been free from defects.

For all systems for which NZXT has promised a certain number of frames per second (measured in "fps"), NZXT guarantees that the frames per second determined with the CAM performance monitoring and analysis software ("CAM") will not exceed ten percent (10%) deviates from the promised value.

If an NZXT product deviates from the condition guaranteed by this warranty statement, it is a "Warranty Incident".

What claims do you have under the NZXT guarantee? During the Warranty Period, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund of the price of any defective NZXT product or part thereof if a warranty claim occurs.

It is within NZXT's reasonable discretion whether under warranty a NZXT product or part thereof will be repaired, exchanged for an NZXT product of equal or greater value or refunded. This only applies if you do not have the right to choose within the framework of your statutory defect rights.

NZXT will cover the cost of repair, replacement or refund itself. NZXT will cover the costs for shipping to and from you if you bought your NZXT product directly from NZXT.

If you bought your NZXT from an authorized NZXT retailer, NZXT will only pay for the cost of shipping the repaired or new part back to you.

What is not covered by the NZXT Guarantee? The NZXT guarantee does not apply:

  • for NZXT products that you did not purchase as the original purchaser from NZXT itself or an authorized NZXT retailer.
  • for cosmetic damage to your NZXT Product under a value of ten (10) euro cents or for cosmetic damage to your NZXT Product that you report to NZXT more than 21 calendar days after delivery of your NZXT Product.
  • for damage resulting from improper installation, treatment or care, power supply problems, lack of care, accidents, normal wear and tear, soiling or aging. Improper handling also includes failure to comply with the operating instructions included in the scope of delivery, including required maintenance or updates or failure to install required security patches.
  • for water damage, fire damage or damage caused by your fault or the fault of third parties.
  • for damage caused by unauthorized repairs.
  • for transport damage.

The NZXT warranty is void if

  • You have hacked, manipulated or otherwise fraudulently changed performance data of your NZXT product that would describe a warranty claim. if initially present, the service tag, warranty sticker, serial number or other markings have been removed, altered or rendered illegible.
  • You upgrade or upgrade your NZXT product after receipt.

How can you assert your rights in the case of a guarantee?

In order to claim your NZXT warranty, you must contact NZXT via the support portal within [14] calendar days of the occurrence of the warranty claim. For this purpose, you must create a ticket there and describe the warranty case truthfully, accurately and completely. You can enclose a copy of your invoice for the purchase of your NZXT system or computer part with the ticket as proof of purchase. If you do not have proof of purchase with your ticket, you must do so at the latest when asked by the support team, otherwise your guarantee case cannot be processed.

After internal approval of your warranty claim, NZXT will send you a return label, which you can use to send your NZXT product back to NZXT free of charge, should NZXT assume the costs. If NZXT only pays the return shipping costs to you, NZXT will send you a returns number which you must affix to the package in which you send your NZXT product. Otherwise your NZXT product cannot be assigned to your ticket or your guarantee case can be processed. If the warranty case relates to a component of your NZXT system that has already been replaced or a computer part that has already been replaced, a copy of the confirmation of delivery of the replaced component is required in addition to the copy of the invoice instead of the invoice. If you need to send your NZXT Product in for repairs or exchanges covered by the NZXT Warranty, or your NZXT Product otherwise needs to be repaired by NZXT's support team, please ensure that you have a backup copy of any files, data or Programs stored on the hard disk or other storage devices contained therein have been saved to another storage medium and all confidential or private information has been deleted from the hard disk. External accessories should not be sent in under warranty.
