An Update on Pricing

Product Updates

Whether it comes to work, school, or our personal lives, we’ve all been feeling the impact of what’s happening in the world. And many industries are particularly feeling the strain right now when it comes to product availability, a changing workforce, and cost of doing business. That last one is what brings us here today.

We’re going to give it to you straight, we’re in a position where we need to raise our prices. Our goal is to make PC gaming accessible for everyone, so we dislike price increases as much as you do. As it turns out, costs related to freight and other shipping logistics from our factories have gone up significantly and fluctuate often. This is a repercussion of the pandemic, which has had a considerable impact on supply chains and across almost every industry worldwide.

We will be adjusting our pricing to best accommodate these fluctuations. We know that many of you plan your builds months (even years) ahead of time. That is why we want to assure each and every one of you that the price you pay is the best price that we can offer you, and we will continue to level with you as much as possible as things develop.

Our community has shown us a ton of support and for that we’re very grateful. We use that gratitude as our north star to navigate these murky times. We’ll be keeping the doors of communication open as we continue to meet your support with passionate efforts to keep costs as low as we can.

Please feel free to reach out to customer support anytime with questions, follow us on Twitter, or join our Discord server. Your voice matters, we want to hear it.

FAQ:

Why aren’t other companies raising prices? Every company has different margins they are working towards and different stock levels in warehouses worldwide. Though these increasing prices will ultimately impact everyone - different companies will be able to absorb those prices in different ways.

Why aren’t retailers like Best Buy or Amazon selling your products at the higher price? We work with our retail partner to keep them informed on all of our pricing, most of them have inventory at local warehouses so are not impacted yet by freight and shipping price hikes.
